Salo is a traditional Eastern European delicacy of raw salt-cured pork fatback seasoned with garlic and pepper. It's extremely popular in Ukrainian cuisine, prized for its rich flavor and creamy texture. Served thinly sliced with dark rye bread, pickles, or beetroot soup 'borshch'. Perfectly pairs with vodka.
